Welcome to Growing Garden Childcare! We are a home daycare, just a short drive to Downtown Portland, Oregon, in the Inner SE, Woodstock neighborhood.... a convenient, centralized location! At Growing Garden we know you want your precious little ones in the best care possible. That is why we provide an exceptional caring, nurturing and learning environment that you can trust with a focus on each individual child's growth & development.
At Growing Garden, your child will be exposed to many fun learning activities such as gardening, art, music, pre-math, pre-reading, and more pre-school style activities. We teach and model treating each other with respect and apply love and logic principles. We also have a variety of plain fun, play-time activities that allow them to burn their energy such as multiple play structures and room for children to ride bikes on the property. We have lots of space, indoor and out, for your child to have fun, adventurous days! Our property is fully fenced and gated.
USDA approved, natural, non-gmo & organic meals and snacks are always provided. We also cater to special diet needs for those with allergies and food sensitivities.
As owner and operator, I am state licensed, trained in pediatric CPR & first aid, am child & infant food handler certified and have completed many child development trainings. I have at least 20 years of experience in caring for children. I and All of my back-up care providers are enrolled in the state's background registry. All consist only of those experienced in child care including a former elementary school teacher with an early childhood education degree.
