Tropical BreezeHouse accommodations (dorm-style or private rooms) available at GaiaYoga Gardens, a 17.75-acre permaculture / food forest / tribal community founded 12 years ago in the tropical rainforest jungle between Kapoho/Four Corners and Pahoa (a few miles from the ocean). BreezeHouse has screen walls that let in lots of air and light, built with natural materials such as bamboo and logs from the land, and has a tarp roof with an additional tarp and fabric ceiling. We live off-grid, with solar panels and batteries providing electricity to regular AC plugs, rainwater catchment, and composting toilets. All options to stay here include some mix of money and work-trade (which we call "Landance") and the option to participate in a weekly class. We prefer people move in on the 1st Weds of the month, so we can orient as many folks at the same time and be efficient with our time.

(We are especially looking for someone(s) to be a natural builder, auto mechanic, raw food chef and do childcare.)

Perks and amenities of living with us
*** Participation in our cycle of classes and presentations in sustainable and holistic natural living, which include:
*** Instinctive Eating / Primal Diet: our (optional) way of eating (all raw foods including raw meat, dairy, and eggs as well as fruits, vegetables, and nuts)
*** Permaculture: our ways of working with the land to produce food (with influences from Mollison/Holmgren, Fukuoka, BioDynamic Mini-Farming, and Korean Natural Farming)
*** Non-Violent Communication (NVC) / Compassionate Communication: connecting and fully engaging with each other using this language/consciousness
*** Light On Shadow Work: Effective processes for looking at the parts of ourselves we often don't see and don't want to see that are actually making our life not work and hurting those around us.
*** GaiaYoga Holistic Culture: big-picture view of our vision
*** Community Meetings / HeartCore Meetings: deepen our connections & container, access our shadows, resolve polarities, and make decisions
*** Orientation to the intensities and pitfalls of island life, dense jungle life, and community life

Also includes:

*** Access to food grown and produced on our land, potentially including:
*** Raw (unpasteurized) grass-fed milk
*** Raw-food-fed chicken eggs
*** Occasional wild pork or raw-food-fed chicken
*** Seasonal tree fruits, including avocados, bananas, papayas, oranges, jakfruit, abiu, rollinia, 3 kinds of lilikoi, guava, and more, with MANY more on the way as fruit trees mature
*** Perennial vegetables
*** Young and mature coconuts that we forage wild
*** Opportunities to learn how to forage for and produce all the above food

*** "The Kasbah" (classroom, yoga, music -- amps/PA/drumset, chill space in a peaceful screened-in breeze house)
