You will have BACKYARD access, which is lovely in the summertime and there is a WASHER/DRYER inside the apartment. (What????!!) Yes!! A fully functioning and modern washer/dryer. No more lugging your dirty laundry around town!
The room has 2 windows, which gets a ALOT of sunlight because it's south facing. There is a built-in closet. The picture shows the room with furniture that will not be in the room.
I am 32. I'm a student at Baruch in the day and La Guardia at night. I like to keep the apartment tidy and clean at all times. My roommate Kelly is also 32 and is in fashion design. We are friendly and decent human beings :) I can honestly say there has never been any drama, or passive aggressive or negative tension in the apartment. We don't hang out much together, but every once in a while we do. I think we are great roommates, and just hoping for another nice, friendly and considerate person to join us.
The subway is right there across the street! Bedford Ave. It's one stop from Manhattan! This means you can be in Manhattan 1st Ave in approximately 5 mins from our front door!
The electric and internet bills are both split equally amongst 3 people.
As much as this apt is amazing, the neighborhood is the selling point. Everywhere around us is convenience, 24/hr stores, bars, restaurants, transport, parks, grocery store...all is right here at our footstep.
