Blue is, per usual, was found as a stray and ended up in a high kill shelter but because he is such a sweet, fun loving boy, he was rescued! Shelter staff and volunteers kept promoting this sweetpea for a whole month because he was such a good boy for them, until finally a wonderful foster finally came though and now he is ready for adoption in southern Maine. He is sponsored and comes with FREE obedience training to his new owner!

Blue is playful and likes to chase the tennis ball. He gets along with other dogs but no cats, he is way too much for them. We think he's a Weimaraner mixed with something bully (either Boxer, Bulldog or Pittie or all of the above). He's tall and lanky but not a huge dog so as always, who knows :)

He is great with other dogs but does possess toys with other dog and is dominant so does mix well with other overly dominant, large dogs. He listens well and settles in well after a quick run or fetch, he loves his crate and goes in without asking. He is quiet but will let you know if someone comes to the door, crate/potty trained and very eager to please. He does best with a strong leader and loves to have his belly rubbed and be taught things, very smart boy and cuddly when you ask him to be. He does well off leash alone and has great recall. He would probably like to be an only dog with a somewhat active owner, but is also used to being alone all day, but does need to be crated as he's still a puppy.
