1970 Plymouth Duster

9000 USD

Selling my 1970 Duster. Not happy about it, but I need a truck.

Details:

-Slant 6 engine that runs like a top (refreshed a few hundred miles ago, receipts available)
-Carburetor is a 2-barrel for a little more kick than the OE single throat. Has new K&N filter
-Manual steering, but these A-bodies are so light it doesn't matter
-Manual brakes (drums at all four corners, rear shoes are new)
-Manual shift. It's 3-speed on the column. No anti-theft devices needed; not a lot of people can drive these anymore. Transmission and clutch are solid as the engine
-New upper A-arms, ball joints, and wheel bearings up front
-No A/C, but the car is ported for it. Only needs a compressor and some other small bits
-Car does have surface rust underneath, but that's all. Everything visible is great
-All electrical equipment is fully functional, save for the driver's side fender light. Has brand new battery
-Points system has been replaced with electronic ignition. Car cranks every time
-Glass is all original and in good shape, except for the crack in the windshield
-Radiator was rodded out not too long ago. System will stay cool at idle all day long
-Interior is excellent. This is a car that even "non-car people" will enjoy riding in. Can't beat those bench seats
-Gauge cluster is functional sans the voltage readout, but standard aftermarket gauges are fitted underneath the dash, voltage included, so you know what's going on
-Tires are special order new, and are very similar to what the car would have come with from the factory
-Car is 100% road worthy. I would have no reservations about driving it anywhere, interstates and all. Even had to daily it a couple of times when I was in a pinch. Car is GA registered and insured, with clean bill of sale in hand. Turn the key and ride home.

This car would be excellent for a lot of things. It's stupid simple to work on for the beginning enthusiast. If you're looking for the authentic 1970 driving experience, it doesn't get any more authentic than this. You could buy it for your grandkid and teach them that you mean it when you say "back in my day." The unibody is rock solid, and you could hotrod it pretty quickly, if that's your thing. Whatever you do, you'll get looks and thumbs-up anywhere you go, guaranteed.

Price is $9000. Cash only please. No PayPal or any of that nonsense. Feel free to email me for any further information or pictures. I work a busy schedule, so email is best for me. If you contact me and express interest I will respond. If the ad is still up, then the car is still for sale.

Like I said above, I'm not happy about it, but I have to sell the toy to get a truck. I will consider trading, but only for an M715 or older generation Power Wagon. Truck absolutely must be a 4x4 and manual shift. No automatics. Obviously I will front cash if trading up in value.

Thanks for looking, and have a great.
