5.0L Mustang GT
T-5 transmission
3.55 rear end gears with Traction-Lok (posi) rear end.
164,xxx miles (But, NEW transmission and clutch installed around 127k (see below for all parts that have been replaced).

Up for sale is my 1991 Mustang GT. I have owned this vehicle since May of 2008 and I am selling this vehicle simply because I don't have the time, patience and money to fully restore this vehicle to its former glory.

I have over $6500 invested in this vehicle but I'm asking below that. This car has been garaged and adult driven since I purchased it in 2008. Previous owners were also adults, too.

First of all, let me mention all of the items that have been replaced/upgraded by the previous owner and myself and I have quite a few receipts on the parts that have been replaced.

1. New headlights
2. American Muscle cold air intake
3. Newer (less than 4000 miles on them) Fuzion HRi tires
4. New rear hatch struts
5. Installed in the spring of 2013, Summit Racing Seats with correct brackets.
6. Rear seat delete, summer 2013 (rear seat does not come with car if sold). This is a carpeted section which fills the space where the rear seat would go.
7. Various EGR components, solenoid, valve replaced, vacuum lines cleaned.
8. Black satin finished stock hood.
9. Right rear fender lip was beginning to rust so fender was completely replaced. No bondo was used and this was done by a local body shop.

Installed by previous owners or myself (I still have some of the paperwork from these modifications showing just how much previous owners have spent). . .
8. Upper and lower 93 cobra intake manifolds.
9. BBK headers
10. BBK H-pipe with Flowmaster exhaust
11. Ford Racing E303 camshaft
12. Ford Racing 24LB/HR fuel injectors.
13. C&L perfomance MAF housing
14. Walbro fuel pump.
15. Holley water pump.
16. 70mm Holley throttle body.
17. Speaker and radio wiring was all replaced with a Pioneer CD head unit. Also main control stalk was replaced (a problem area on this model) with a new stalk.
18. Rear speakers replaced.
19. NEW Tremec T-5 transmission installed in 2006 but with around 40k miles of wear on it now.
20. Timing cover and seal replaced. (This is an expensive repair on fox bodies.)
21. King Cobra adjustable heavy-duty clutch installed with new transmission.
22. B & R short throw shifter.
23. KYB sport shocks
24. Steeda springs lowers car 1" in back and 1.5" in the front.
25. Front brakes and rotors replaced. Calipers are painted red.

Exterior and interior modifications. . .
26. 1993 Cobra Cervinis body kit (this kit and the paint alone cost more than $3000 when installed).
27. Also includes Cervinis Cobra wing and Cobra front grille. I did sell the Cervinis cowl hood as I could not see well behind it when I was driving so an original satin black hood was installed instead.
28. Mustang LX Police Interceptor 160 MPH speedometer (speedo is 5-8 MPH fast but if you don't tell your kid this, they will never know).
29. Mustang Cobra emblems and Cobra floor mats (Expensive Weathertech floor mats will be included!).
30. Auto Meter gauges for temp and oil pressure on the a-pillar and fuel pressure in the middle air-vent.
31. Mustang Cobra tail lights.
(Forgot to mention, this car also has a JACK ROUSCH autographed glove box with photos to prove it!)

Here are additional items I have replaced within the last year in an effort to make this car run better and or eliminate OBD code 33.
32. New MAF sensor from Advanced auto parts.
33. New EGR valve
34. New EGR position sensor
35. New EGR solenoid
36. New engine coolant temperature sensor
37. New Autolite spark plugs (had Bosch wires on it before I purchased it).

What doesn't work on this car or what should the buyer expect?
1. Minor hail dings on the roof
2. Ding above the driver's side door
3. Doors, panels and fenders are ding-free, perfect condition (see note about passenger fender)
4. Even though this car was repainted (in Ford Performance Red: Paint Code YS) there are some scratches and chips.
5. Left rear bumper cover has a small crack in it.
6. Side skirts have a small crack on each side towards the front
8. Trim and rubber is worn on driver side and is to be expected from a 20-year old Ford (easy to replace)
9. Replacement stock ground effects kit will be included. All parts are primed and just need to be painted and installed.
10. Passenger power window switch (located on the driver side) works when it wants to. The actual passenger side switch works just fine.
11. A/C blows, just not cold.
12. From time to time check engine light turns on. Code indicates low voltage reading on the MAF sensor. (MAF Sensor was replaced in 2012 but I haven't had time to track down the correct wire causing this code. Even with light on, car runs fine and has not presented any problems so far but this car is almost 25 years old and does require some TLC like most old cars).
13. Oil pressure starts around 50LBS and drops to 20 LBS once the engine has reached operating temperature.
15. Door handle on the drivers side is a bit lose but a replacement is included in this sale.
Due to the H pipe the car does not have catalytic converters installed and will not pass an emissions test (here in Nebraska we don't test for emissions so it has never been a problem.)

The car would make a perfect father son/daughter project car with just a bit of work and some elbow grease. The exhaust is loud, growls and turns heads if you even remotely get on it. This car is basically set up for the track (street or strip) and has the potential to be a beast on the road. It already is quick but could be much, more. You can check prices on eBay but there really is no consistent pricing on fox bodies anymore. Unmodified originals bring $20k plus anymore and the prices go down from there.

Like I said, I love this car but I just do not have the time/patience to enjoy it and/or turn it into the performance car that it could be.

As for gas mileage, you will get close to 25 MPG on the highway. When the new transmission was installed the standard ratio was used so it has not been "geared down".

Serious offers only, no joyrides and I don't have time to deliver this vehicle. If you want it, come and get it as I have a clean non-salvage title in hand. Cash only and once the title is in your hand it is yours. If you would like to see this car, I can show it to you after 5 PM most days.

$4000 firm.
