2 bonded, sweet, shy, young boygirl cats seek home together (oakland piedmont montclair)

Patrick (black/white boy) and Joy (tabby girl) are two bonded young cats 1-2 years-old who still need a bit of help learning to trust people.

Joy is a gorgeous and very sweet cat who likes to nuzzle into chin and cheek scratches. She is rather shy and spends most of the day under the bed but she can be coaxed out of hiding with a fun toy. There's definitely some kitten playfulness under that coy exterior.

While she is an easy and very sweet cat, she will need and patient love in a new home in order to feel comfortable and gain confidence. She enjoys sitting near a window but is prone to hide when people come into the room.

Patrick is a handsome and playful cat who is gaining more confidence by the day. He loves affection when he is quietly approached. His newest trick is taking up all the space on the couch -- until someone comes into the room of course. But he struts around the house like he owns the place when he thinks no one is looking.

Patrick is still learning how to receive pets and play without nibbling or batting at hands. He just doesn't know better yet, but he's learning every day.

Patrick is very protective of Joy and she is quite fond of him, so they need to be adopted together. They will need adequate time to settle in and feel comfortable in any new space. They likely didn't have much human interaction as kittens, so they are both still learning what it means to trust people. They are very sweet cats who just need a gentle, patient person to help them along through life and show them that they're safe and loved.

Patrick and Joy are neutered/spayed, microchipped, vaccinated, negative for FELV/FIV, and $75 total to adopt together. Because they are being fostered with a resident cat who is quite stressed by their presence, Patrick and Joy could also use a foster home as soon as possible (all supplies provided). Cat Town offers foster-to-adopt arrangements to those committed to giving our cats a chance to settle into a new home.
