2004 Ford Explorer XLT 4x4 V6 4.0L
-187,500 miles
-3rd Row seating
-Leather, rear climate control, and towing package
-I bought the vehicle when it had 80,000 miles on it.
-This SUV is over 10 years old so it does has some wear on interior and exterior.
-The passenger side window motor is going out, the transmission is slipping but is still drivable. My mechanic told me it is the transmission solenoid that will need to be replaced. If planning to keep long term possibly a rebuilt transmission. This is the main reason I am only asking $1500obo.
-I have put lots of money into this SUV with some records of the big expenses. For example, repair logs of the rear CV joints, ball joints, tie rods.
-I changed oil regularly every 3000 miles.
-The vehicle has always started up on the drop of a dime and is reliably.
-The brakes and rotors are fairly new with over half the life left on the AT-tires.
-You are more than welcome to test drive it, and I am open to reasonable offers considering the transmission slipping will be a costly repair but other than that nothing is wrong with the vehicle.
KBB is $4,325 even in fair condition so I'm trying to be very reasonable with the asking price.
