About Me Hi my name is Brian and I consider myself to be a loyal, empathetic, compassionate, playful, trustworthy, down-to-earth, straightforward honest person. Some people often refer to me as a people pleaser. Pet pleaser too:) I love all pets equally, although I do have a soft spot for labrador retrievers as the sweetest dog I ever had was a yellow lab. I am a Virginia Tech grad with a business degree although at this point in my life I am shifting my focus towards nature and spirituality as I find more true happiness in those things. I am still a sucker for technology in a lot of ways, I guess it's a work in progress hah :) My roommate is allergic to most animals so we have none and there is definitely a void in my life that needs to be filled!! I'm in shape, attentive, great at following directions, and capable of playing with and exercising/walking big and small pets alike. I am a natural at taking care of pets (and people) and would not be one to neglect any of their needs. Also, I don't drink or do drugs and I've never been involved in crime or in similar trouble and have passed Rover's background check. I am trustworthy and live a fairly minimalist lifestyle because I believe that I have everything that I need in life. Well, with the exception of some furry critters:) I live right next to Lake Johnson on the edge of Raleigh and Cary. If your pet is playful and loves attention and affection, they are a good match for me (I'm willing to work with the more stubborn ones too!). Also, free belly rubs are included:) (for the pets of course!!!!!!) Why I love dog sitting I was raised by my grandparents and have loved dogs ever since I can remember. When I was 12, I convinced them to buy me a yellow lab puppy (I named him Rex) and he was very special to me. We did not know this when we got him, but he was almost completely blind. I can't recall this disability stopping him from doing anything that normal dogs do, but I do know that my childhood wouldn't have been the same without him!
