I've owned this wonderful Multi-Unit for 9 years and it has been a fantastic, fun investment for me, by the beach. Financially, rental income has covered my mortgage and all bills pertaining to property ( taxes, insurance, oil, electricity, etc, with even a little extra spending money left over for me :) ) so I didn't have to work outside the home. I lived simply, within my means. I live in the first floor 2 bedroom, 2 bath unit and rented the 2 units out on 2nd floor. It also has 2 small cottages on the property that are year round, or you can have summer tourists instead, which is even more income. I chose the easier route and rent the cottages and apartments out year round to good, long term tenants.. The 7 mile beach is only a half mile away. Very popular with Canadian tourists for over a century. I am very happy here and it is good living, but it may be time to move on , downsize and retire.
