Available August 1 is a private bedroom and bathroom at Lakeview at the Bay. We're looking to sign a 10-12 month lease. You may move in a few days prior.
About You: Non-smoking, drug-free (including marijuana and MMJ). Student or young professional preferred. No pets. You will have to fill out an application ($60) with the leasing office to be approved and they ask that you provide paystubs showing employment for the past month.
Description: The room is part of a three-bedroom, two-bathroom apartment. The apartment is on the second floor. The room is 13 feet by 12 feet and has a walk-in closet. The bathroom features a double-vanity. The apartment includes a washer and dryer for your convenience. More information on Lakeview can be found on their website.
Location: The apartment community is located just east of the Baseline and Rural Rd. intersection. It is conveniently close to the US-60 (0.5 mile) and the Price Freeway (2 miles), making getting around the Phoenix valley easy. ASU is about a ten-minute drive away, and we know of places where one can park near the campus to save on parking costs.
Rent and Miscellaneous Costs: The rent will be $500-$550, depending on how long the length of the lease will be. Bills include electricity, gas, water/sewer/trash, and Internet and are typically as follows:
Electricity: Varies from $50 to $100.
Gas: Varies from as low as $40 to as high as $90 during the winter months.
Water/Sewer/Trash: About $20
Internet: $67
These costs are divided equally amongst us three.
Other costs would include miscellaneous household costs such as trash bags, dish detergent, and the like. We typically hold onto for reimbursement or just make sure someone else buys what is needed next time.
About Us: Dennis and I are both engineering students in our final year at ASU. We are both non-smoking although we are smoking-hot. (We like to kid ourselves.) We are quiet, clean, and will be respectful of your space and belongings.
