We have need for heartworm prevention, if you have a pet that has grown bigger !
Our dogs are all heartworm tested unless puppies..all receive this & flea/tick prevention.
it is the healthy thing to do.
Some needs:
>Beagle, 20 lbs, may need eye to be removed, just spayed, easy house guest, quiet in crate, QUEENIE
>AM Staff Terrier (Pit) found as a puppy, house dogs for a year...I suggest NEVER to let cats outside w/ dogs...owner did, and 2 dogs killed an older cat..kids are upset and want dogs gone..one is adopted..the pit is DEAF...picture is on website under MARCUS "Chubby Cheeks" who still sleeps w/ owner, but her children may ask for him to be pts...
>Dachshund . hard to place..rough start...lady w/ 5 other dogs and works 12 hours a day has him READY , except he needs to get used to men around..and she needs a vaction from fostering for a few weeks... BUTTERSCOTCH
>WILLA (WILMA) rescued by a shelter volunteer thru Love Mutts because this hunting dog don't hunt, and deserved a 2nd chance at love..she is so affectionate..crate/house trained..but we discovered , she had a chemical burn on her side..it is now almost healed..she is being spayed today in Kinston, and the volunteers husband may be having strokes..so she can not care for WILLA any longer..we do not want her to recover in a boarding situation...
>LUTHER is a pure beagle puppy. about 12 weeks old w/ stage 4 heart murmur...some grow out of this..he is a beauty...all trained, and has to leave his mama & his foster asap...he is also for adoption, & will be monitored on how the rescue will help w/ his heart condition, if needed...
>some have individual issues..to be explained, as we fully disclose and it should be on profile
& we have a behavior consultant.
WITH almost 80 dogs/kitties on the website..we are under-foster volunteered right now...our boarding facilities are GREAT w/ them, but it is also a big financial burden to the rescue. We can supply the food, more than that is tax deductible, if you can help..go to our website and fill out:
