I'm a 37 year old (housebroken) male, omnivore, with progressive/socialist/egalitarian political leanings. I studied Philosophy at Portland State University and worked at the library there for 3.5 years. I am now the manager of the SEO (Search Engine Optimization) team at a local digital marketing agency called Ethology, and I also have my own business on the side doing web development and internet marketing for local businesses.
For what it's worth my income is in the $70k+/year range. I currently live in a 1 bedroom apartment that costs $1,060/month, and I'm trying to reduce my living expenses to save for international travel and possibly grad school to study library science. My live-in girlfriend of 3 years and I also recently broke up, and she moved out. I can't deny that some of the memories this apartment holds for me are also a reason for my interest in moving.
I am a very moderate/infrequent drinker - I worked that out of my system while playing in punk/metal bands in my 20's. I eat pretty healthy and exercise regularly. I don't smoke cigarettes, but I am an occasional marijuana smoker - maybe 1-2 times per month? Sometimes not at all for months at a time? I don't have any pets, but I love cats, sometimes more than people. I read a lot and I also play guitar, but I haven't been in any bands for around a decade. I just quietly noodle and write songs by myself, mostly. I'm very respectful when it comes to noise, and am a pretty quiet person, overall.
I love to cook, and will gladly pitch in to prepare meals (and I don't mind doing the dishes afterward). I'm easy-going, tidy, and happy to pitch in on house maintenance stuff.
I work from home anywhere from 1-3 days per week, so having stable WiFi is pretty important for me. Some quiet while I'm on the phone during meetings when I work from home would be great too.
I would probably have to store most of my furniture, but I would like to retain my king size bed - so, having a bedroom that can accommodate it would be ideal. A private bath would also be ideal, but hey, I lived in 1 bathroom house with 5 other dudes for 4 years, so I'm thinking I can make just about any arrangement work.
