7 Month Old Special Needs Male Cat Manny LKING For Purrfect Home (ORLANDO) hide this posting unhide

Manny is about 7 months old and is fully vetted. He has his shots including rabies and distemper with the follow-up distemper booster. He has also been wormed twice along with 4 treatments of the prescription Advantage Multi for ear mites and worms.
Manny was neutered on 10/31 ... I guess that's a "trick" not a "treat" ...
He comes from a cat colony I attend ... I have 3 others from the same colony ... all three guys are incredible ...
I brought Manny in the Friday before the hurricane ... He was too friendly / mellow to be outside ... I figured if the storm did not get Him the area / surroundings would.
Upon His first vet visit ... His bloodwork showed fine ... No FIV or FeLV ... but 25 minutes into the test a faint line showed up on the feline leukemia side of the test. When tested again on His return trip for neutering (10/31) a faint line showed again. Because of this He can not be with my clan and needs to be the only cat in the house. He may have been exposed through the birth canal (Mother) which passes on the antigens ... thus the faint undefined line ... some cats test negative 6 mo to a year out. Because of His great health and casual demeanor my highly experienced Vet would not entertain destroying Him. He said he had some cats who tested the same and are over 10 years old with no health problems.
Having 4 cats makes it impossible to keep Manny at this time with just sucks so much. He is a wonderful cat ... beautiful as you can see by the pictures ... so full of energy as a fast growing kitten/cat ... very smart ... can get into or undo anything. He does not meow but opens His mouth and squeaks. Currently Manny is eating Natural Balance Green Pea and Chicken grain free dry food along with a cooked meal (chicken / salmon) twice a day. I mix the chicken or salmon with Soulistic brand grain free wet food. (Petco) By His head/feet size I would feel He is going to be a big cat like two of the ones I rescued/vetted from the same colony. He uses His litter box like a champion and I am using "World's Best" cat litter so as not to subject Him to dust/clay.
So to make a long story longer ... I'm looking for someone that can give Manny a great indoor home and lots of love. He needs more room to run and play than I can provide here since He can not interact with my "family". At this time He only has a bedroom and a bath to run and play in ... no matter how many toys and "things" I provide He deserves so much more ... like my others. I also insist that He not be de-clawed as it is just wrong in so many ways. He has to be the only cat ... as far as a dog ... I don't know. I do know He has "blls" ... when I pull out the vacuum ... my 3 guys run to the next room or next floor ... when Manny sees the vacuum ... He runs at it and plays with it the whole time ... He's a crazy one ...
