The room, house, and roommates are great and I'm only leaving because I got a new job and am moving to California. This is not a sublet and you will start a new lease with the homeowner (who is also a roommate). I've been here 6 months and have not had any issues. Current roommates (Kate and Elaine) are nice, considerate, active, and rarely home. Below is a description of the house and what the current roommates are looking for. One bedroom available in a new, spacious, modern, and beautiful home located next to (6 blocks) RiNo, Denver's River North Arts District. This home is recently (May 2016) built, with modern and high end finishes. Room is available January 1, 2018.

About the place:
New, modern 4bd/3ba, 2100 sqft, single family house with white oak floors, quartz counterparts, stainless steel appliances, beautiful high end finishes and custom tile throughout. There is great light throughout the house, there is a washer and dryer, a small fenced yard. Common spaces will be furnished. The house located in a prime location, 6 blocks from the new light right stop at 38th/Blake that goes straight to Union Station (downtown) and to Denver International Airport. You will be a stone's throw away from the breweries, galleries, restaurants in RiNo.

About the Bedroom:
This bedroom is on the second floor with large windows and a balcony facing the street. You would share a bathroom 1 or 2 other roommates (there is also a half bath downstairs). This room is $900/month with a one year lease, $950 with a six month lease, or $1000/month for a month-month lease. Available Jan 1.

About you:
Seeking young professionals between 25-40 who are active, responsible, clean and respectful. Because common spaces will be furnished, and we are looking to keep the place clutter free, you ideally do not have much stuff besides the furniture for your bedroom. Bonus points for makers, startup/entrepreneurs, creative types, or those working with environmental and socially responsible enterprises. Seeking others interested in cultivating a community and creating a home rather than just a place to sleep.

About me (Homeowner/Roomie):
I am a young professional, female, working in the environmental arena, and have worked in the food/beverage start up space. I am very active, both in the city as well as in the outdoors. Most weekends you will find me in the mountains riding my mountain bike, camping/hiking or finding a way to get out to the coast to surf. I am learning banjo, love cooking and love interesting ways to cultivate community. Fan of independent music and arts.

Other logistics:
Ideally seeking a 6-12 month commitment, but will consider month to month for a slightly higher price due to the increased time involved in finding a replacement in a short amount of time. Deposit (equal to one month's rent) due at move in, along with $35 background check/application fee. Rent will be due the 28th of each month. Utilities including monthly cleaning service will be split four ways with all roommates.

Possibly open to pets, but is unique and dependent on the specific animal. Of course, more cleaning responsibilities for the owner and a pet deposit will be required if a pet is approved.
