Wee the People Preschool is where your 3, 4 or 5 year old child can prepare for K5 in the public school system. The program is designed to help each child master the skills needed to be ready for success! My program includes fun games, songs and activities, along with actual classroom time, that together make the learning process a great adventure where your child will be eager to participate and contribute. This is a family home daycare that has been in operation for 21 years (DSS#8157). My 4 and 5 year old students can read, and they LOVE it!

CARE PROGRAM: I teach preschool ABCs, 123s, Reading through Phonics, Math (addition & subtraction), and sign language (ASL) to enhance the learning experience and reinforce communication skills! My goal is to meet or exceed the Readiness Skills of Kindergarten (K5) as proposed by Lexington County School Districts.

My program includes circle time, learning games, singing songs, making arts & crafts, inside and outside play, exercise, dancing, holiday and birthday parties, and having fun.

I hold a Bachelor's Degree in Education. I have excellent references. My program is more affordable than the large daycare center programs, with better results. My 4 and 5 year old students can READ! :) Ratio 1 teacher: 6 students.
I am a member of the Child and Adult Care Food Program which ensures that I serve a nutritionally balanced breakfast, lunch and snack.

This is a DSS registered (#8157) family child care home. I have been teaching preschool children for 21 years! One third of my home has been converted into daycare rooms. I provide a play room, a classroom and a nap room that are solely used for the children. I have a large fenced yard for outside play.

Open Monday thru Friday, 7 am - 5:30 pm.

NOTE: I only enroll full-time students of age 3, 4 & 5. If your child is nearing the age of 3, he/she may also be considered for enrollment.

Located on Emanuel Church Road, 1 mile from White Knoll Elementary School and White Knoll Middle School. Lexington/West Columbia area.
