A Group of 12 Vintage P.W. Ostwald Pocket Knife Blades-
This group of blades was removed from the old P.W. Ostwald Machine Shop
in Baker, Oregon, when it was closed a few years ago.
From the 1920's thru the 1950's Ostwald and his mentor, Frank Warren were
noted for removing the blades from factory knives in order to install their own
forgings. We discovered a wide assortment of P.W. Ostwald marked blades,
that had been forged but never installed. Ostwald mainly made
stockman patterns, so most would fall into that catagory.
These blades are unused but heavily stained from age. Thesre are 4 master blades and 8 secondary blades to create 4 stockman pattern pocket knives.
