Academic Scorers (Dover, NH)

Adecco is currently assisting a client in recruiting for day shift and evening shift Academic Scorers jobs in Dover, NH. These positions are short-term temporary opportunities with full-time and part time hours running through the spring season. The Academic Scorers will be responsible for evaluating open-ended responses to elementary and secondary test questions, and assigning scores following prescribed standards.

Responsibilities for the Academic Scorer jobs include:

• Comprehend and follow established scoring guides and rubrics
• Demonstrate comprehension of rubrics and guides by passing a qualifying round of scoring for each different item scored
• Read, evaluate and assign scores via computer to digitally enhanced images (or paper copy) of student responses
• Maintain designated accuracy and productivity rates
• Work quietly in a professional manner
• Arrive at work ON TIME and attendance is EXTREMELY important
• Perform other duties as assigned

Candidates must meet the following requirements for consideration:
• Required: Bachelor's degree, including applicable course work in the subject matter being scored
• Strong attention to detail
• Must be able to commit for the entire assignment, no time off

There are 2 different shifts available:
• The day shift work hours are Monday through Friday, 8 am to 4:30 pm and work from 4/20 through 5/8/15
• Two evening shift schedules with work hours of Monday through Friday, 5:30 pm to 10 pm
Math Scorers - scheduled to work from 4/27 through 5/22/15
English Scorers - scheduled to work from 4/27 through 6/12/15

The pay rate for all shifts is $11.50/hr. These positions are great opportunities to earn a little extra cash. If anyone is interested in applying or would like more information they can contact me directly at or by email.
