ACME Farms + Kitchen is seeking Seattle Area Contract Drivers - Part Time

We deliver a variety of boxes that are packed with the ingredients, meal-planning and recipes necessary to make 3-5 meals that will comfortably feed a family of four. We work hard to source almost all of our ingredients regionally and when we can't find them regionally, they're guaranteed to be organic. DETAILS::
We are looking for motivated, punctual, and hard working individuals to provide home delivery service of our Locavore Boxes. Preferably living on the Eastside of Lake Washington to help us expand our delivery zone north, south and east of Seattle. On Tuesdays drivers will receive predetermined routes by email and on Thursday will meet a driver from Bellingham in Seattle with the boxes for each route. Routes will vary from 8-25 stops depending on location and vehicle capacity.
COMPENSATION::
Drivers are paid per stop; rate depends on delivery area. Most drivers make between $20 - $30 per hour. Drivers are responsible for their own vehicle maintenance, fuel, and related costs. There is no mileage reimbursement. Drivers will be paid the week after deliveries are made.
REQUIREMENTS::
Valid WA State Drivers License and clean driving record
Up-to-date vehicle liability and bodily injury insurance
Have a large, clean, well-maintained, dependable vehicle capable of carrying multiple boxes [SUVs, station wagons, minivans, cargo vans ONLY]
Must be available Thursday between 1pm and 6pm. Currently in special need of on-call substitute drivers.
Fluent in English
Over 21
