8 babies that are now 4 weeks old. They will be ready to go to new homes in 1 week if weaning goes smoothly. We wish we could keep them all, but we already have 4 rats. Babies are as follows :
2 males, one black and white hooded, one beige and white hooded.
6 female, all beige and white hooded.
They are all very social and have been handled since birth. They play outside of the cage daily. Rats make wonderful pets. They are highly intelligent and can be litter trained and taught tricks. I WILL NOT SELL THEM AS REPTILE FOOD. THERE ARE PLENTY OF OTHER OPTIONS FOR FEEDER RATS SO PLEASE DO NOT TRY TO TRICK ME. IF I AM AT ALL SUSPICIOUS, I WILL NOT TO ADOPT TO YOU.
Rats are very social so I prefer them to go in same sex pairs. If you have another rat already, they may need to meet first. $10 each, or BOGO. I also build bin cages. If you are interested in having me build one for you, you provide the materials and I will build it for $25 . (materials cost roughly $40).
