HER FOREVER FAMILY! Sadie is a 6-8 year old beluga-mix, err, Pit Bull Terrier mix. We're not sure what she could be mixed with (beside beluga whale?), but she has an adorable short nose! She spent a few months living at Women's Humane Society where she spent a lot of her time meeting new dogs and snuggling with volunteers. City of Elderly Love met her, fell in love and placed her in foster care! Sadie was adopted, but was unfortunately too stressed living with multiple cats and foster kittens. She is now back on the market and looking for the perfect forever home! Sadie has lived with large and small dogs and children! She came to the shelter a bit overweight (hence her nickname, Sadie Sausage), but she has lost a healthy amount of weight since leaving the shelter and is otherwise healthy! Sadie enjoys meeting new dogs of all sizes. She can be a little forward in her introductions, but is friendly and appropriate when interacting! She also LOVES children and is currently in foster care with 2 small boys. She adores spending time with them and is sweet and gentle in all of her interactions. She would do best in a home without cats, or with low-key cats who wouldn't mind sharing their space with a couch potato. Sadie LOVES to be the center of attention and will gladly roll onto her back to expose her big, round belly for belly rubs. She also doesn't mind that she's a bigger girl cause she'll climb right into your lap if you let her! Sadie is very much a family dog and cannot wait to complete one lucky family out there! She would be a great companion for someone looking for a low-key, affectionate dog who always seems up for an adventure, but who also doesn't mind snoozing at your feet at the local coffee shop.
