I work since 2010 as a full time tutor and I assist yearly about 100 students. I have a B.Sc. in Economics, a M.S. in Math and an interdisciplinary Ph.D. in Math, Computer Science, and Physics from top German universities, I worked at international research labs, universities, and companies in Germany, France and in the US. I came 1999 as a post-doc at LBNL to Berkeley.

As an undergraduate I tutored at a private boarding school, as graduate student I taught undergraduate students in classroom settings and after my Ph.D. I offered my own lectures at Universities in France and in Germany. I was the coordinator of an international teaching project involving multiple universities in Europe.

I tutor middle and high school, college and university students very efficiently at all levels of math (Pre-algebra, Algebra 1 & 2, Geometry, Trigonometry, Precalculus, Calculus I-III, Differential Equations, Linear Algebra, Logic, Finite Math, Discrete Math, Probability and Statistics) including test preparations (PSAT, SAT, ACT, GRE, GMAT, placement tests, math competitions). In addition I tutor economics, computer science, calculus based physics, and German (native speaker).

I improve my students' understanding by identifying problem areas, close existing gaps and guide them to reach their full potential. I help struggling students to catch up as well as excellent students to stay excellent, being on top of their UC Berkeley or Stanford University classes, getting accepted or transferring into the Ivy League. I also regularly help students with math phobia, learning differences, like ADHD, Dyslexia, or Aspergers.

My students benefit from many years experience of tutoring and lecturing in multiple countries. I raised two children who both graduated from public high schools in the Bay Area. I tutor the fifth year full time and helped over this period hundreds of students in thousands of hours mostly in one on one sessions but also in small groups.

My students come from a wide range of public and private high schools, colleges like St Mary's, Peralta Colleges, CCSF, DVC, Ca?±ada, Foothill, Skyline, College of San Mateo, and online colleges like UoP, BYU, DeVry University, and from universities like, CSU, University of Arizona, SFSU, USF, Drexel University, UC Berkeley, UC Davis, UC Santa Cruz, and Stanford University. I also help homeschooled and students who take online classes like k12. My rate within 10 miles of Berkeley is $70/h. I also travel and provide group lessons at rates depending on traveling distance.
