"Alma," meaning nourishing and kind, is a name that suits our Alma, well. Alma is affectionate and very gentle with children. She is also good and playful and with other dogs. Alma is left free in the house to play with her canine-sibling when her foster dad is out. She only barks when the other dog does. Alma is house-trained, crate-trained (but, she does not need to be crated), and she also knows: Sit. She is eager to please, well-behaved and food motivated, so, learning additional commands should be easy. Alma is not good with cats or other small pets, like rabbits. She has possessiveness around food and food dishes. Alma enjoys a good chewy toy once in a while. When we think of Alma, we think of pie a la mode. . . Pie is already a treat, but add ice cream and it becomes a higher level of dessert entirely. That's how we think of Alma she takes sweetness and elevates it to bliss.
