In the early 1900's, the United States Government attempted to assimilate the American Indians into the American culture. Boarding Schools and Day Schools were created for this purpose. This box is marked for a recipient currently residing at Saint Mary's Indian School. The school was located in Odanah, Wisconsin.

Classic piece of Americana.
