We are regretfully needing to rehome our 6 month old livestock guard dog, Clover. Clover is 3/4 anatolian 1/4 komondor. She has definitely earned her keep protecting our sheep. She has at least three times alerted us of strange dogs in the yard and was once observed aggressively chasing off a large pitbull. Unfortunately she has killed rabbits on our farm so I would not recommend her for anyone that is trying to graze rabbits in tractors or any ground-based operation. In addition to that we have pet pigs that she is too rough with. She is really great with our other three dogs and cat. She is nice and gentle with even the newborn lambs. We got her at 3 months old where she came from a goat farm with free range chickens. She adapted well to the sheep. She has been around free range chickens, ducks and turkeys here. In full disclosure, she killed one baby chick by trying to carry it around but we have not had any incidences with the adult poultry and I am completely comfortable with her around them. She has had her basic puppy shots but still needs a rabies shot and she has not been spayed. I think she would be great on a sheep or goat ranch and she is also friendly enough that she would make a great country pet or home guard dog. She has a great alert bark, for anything unusual but does not excessively bark throughout the night. We are asking a rehoming fee of .
