Of course I don't expect any help from this department of "red tape". It was just a last ditch effort to get help.

ONLINE LETER SUBMITTED TO ATTORNEY GENERAL OF WASHINGTON STATE

A technician named "Carma" at Animal Health Services at 611 Cowlitz Way, Kelso, WA 98626,had me sign a second form to relinquish the rights to my cat in order to override my wish to have the cat put to sleep. The cat was sick and semi feral and would not do well in an adoption with these two factors. I thought she was helping me by making me think that she would see if she could somehow see if she could make the cat well and possibly return her to me. I could not pay the high costs of testing and blood work to find out just what was wrong with the cat, although I suspected Feline Leukemia. By signing that paper I could no longer see the cat or find out what happened to it. I felt betrayed and tricked into giving up my cat. You cannot fight against these people. They all work together and create an impenetrable wall so you cannot reverse what they have done.

This morning at 8:00 am I had an appointment with the owner, Nancy Kuehlwein to discuss this issue and see if she would return the cat to me. Over the last few days in my utter horror of not being able to have the cat returned to me if they told me the cat could be treated and made well, I have left many messages and wrote many details about the cat and requests that the cat be given back to me. When I signed the second form relinquishing all rights to the cat, I did not realize that that what was the form was about, as I did not read it. The tech put the form on the table with a pen and asked me to sign it. I thought it was something else to ensure that I could get the cat back if they found the cat was treatable. She did not tell me verbally what the form was or the consequences of my signing it.

I want to know if there is anything I can do about this. They called the police to get me out of the office. I was hoping I could make a complaint to the police when they came, but they of course sided with Kuehlwein since she not only owns the vet service, but the entire mini-mall that contains other businesses. I left without further incident.

I want to know if the Attorney General can make the vets office put a hold on rehoming my cat until I can see if there is anything I can do about getting the cat back. I rescued the cat from the outside three months ago. I brought it to their vet to get shots for it and an exam. I told the vet at that time that I thought the cat was sick. She just said, "Why do you say that?" I said because I can hear it in his "meow". He sounds like he does not feel well. When the cat continued to seem unwell and stopped eating, it was then that i brought it in to be put to sleep because I did not want it to suffer and I felt it was not.
