I've been in a lot of bands over the years and have grown tired of playing ho-hum tunes that I have to convince myself to enjoy. Being a typical 30-something I'm a big fan of 90's rock (surprised?) and have been wanting to join or start a cover band that plays mostly and is known for music from that decade. I believe there could be a market for it in the RI and Southern MA "scene" or what's left of it.

I'm mostly interested in doing those songs that were once loved but sadly forgotten about. I'm not looking to do hard rock, but a few well crafted tunes from The Foo Fighters, STP, Bush, etc would be cool if appropriate for the room. Here's a few ideas that'll help define the kind of songs I want to do: I'll be there for you - The Rembrandts All for You - Sister Hazel Slide - Goo Goo Dolls Hey Jealousy - Gin Blossoms 3am - Matchbox 20 1979 - Smashing Pumpkins Losing My Religion - R.E.M Plush - STP I realize it's a long shot but to get this rolling I'd need to find a front man/woman that ideally plays acoustic or electric guitar and has a good range, as well as a drummer. If you can sing harmonies, bonus points for you!
