I've been doing some legal research, and viewing the broadcast carefully of "8 Minutes". I believe I have the grounds for two causes of "defamation".
One of the causes is based on a few factors. For one thing - as these women are presented as "real" he calls them "victims" as they're entering the hotel. Not "suspected victims" or "alleged victims" - but victims.
He further does not refer to them as individuals - but as a collective group as "victims". Thus meaning that anyone who is coming into a hotel room on an appointment is a "victim". Not a sex worker, not an escort, not even a prostitute - but as a "victim".
He then proceeds to generalize that everyone in this group is basically a drug addict, having mental health problems, gives up their own children, and basically can't think for themselves as an adult. He even refers to one woman who appears to be about 40 years old as a "girl".
I personally take high offense to all of this. To anyone viewing this - if I were to say that I am "retired" from the industry 30 years now as I am - this would create an impression that I'm a worthless drug addict, crazy, can't run my own life, and a victim of some pimp.
On that basis - I've found the legal grounds to sue for defamation and plan to. I've also been told so far that they had no filming permits to film in Houston - and that their Beverly Hills offices don't even have a business license.
If I have five people who want to join me - I can make this a "class action lawsuit". I'll be typing up the legal papers over the weekend. If anyone would like to join me, please let me know. They do not have to use their "real legal" name - they can be a plaintiff who uses initials or a stage name.
Thank you.

PS - please spread the word about this as needed. I have to have the papers typed by Sunday to file Monday.
