I am offering babysitting in my home. I have a little girl that is 9 years old now. We adopted her as a baby from out of the country after years of trying to start our own family. About 3 months after I brought my daughter home, I was laid off from my job. I thought it was the perfect opportunity to stay home and bond with my child. I started out watching other children thru friends first and then started to put ads on craigslist and it just expanded. The reasons I decided to start watching other children was so that my daughter could have other kids to learn and play with and I had always wanted a big family. We had to go thru many steps in order to adopt may give you some assurance that I offer a safe and loving home.The adoption process was pretty intense. We had to get fingerprinted several times, backround checks, letters from our local police station, drug tests and numerous unannounced home studies. I try to be as flexible as I can with schedules. My normal hours are 6:45 to 5:00. I am aware of the financial burden that daycare can be therefore I try to keep my rates reasonable. My rate is 35 for a full day or 7 hours or more. I have 2 immediate full time opening and another full time opening in Sept. I can provide you with a list of excellent references. We do have puzzles, read books, sing songs, do some learning of colors, numbers and letters by playing. We go outside as often as possible. Have a big fenced in backyard with a security gate for safety, a swingset and in the summer months two pools (one for the little ones and one for the bigger ones) I provide all food snacks and drinks.
