Seattle-based author seeks artist or illustrator to create original images for several children's picture books for the very young (1-3 years old). Each book is stand alone and should have a different look than the others.

I'm planning to self-publish hardcovers/board books, but also shop the manuscripts around to both local and national publishers.

Looking to work with an illustrator for one, some, or all of the books. Looking for both traditional, and non-traditional styles.

Each book will require anywhere from 8-16 images, full color, both half page and full page.

The artist/illustrator can be located anywhere -- willing to work together online and via phone.
