I am an East Bay professional photographer who is preparing a project that highlights the beauty of the African-American woman who chooses to wear her hair naturally. That means, her hair is not processed with chemicals but may be twisted, braided, dreadlocked, blown out in an afro etc. African-American and mixed race women (who have African heritage) of all ages and complexions will be considered. The images will be used for an online display and possibly a municipal gallery display.
