WEEKEND AUDITIONS : 3 SHORT FILMS & THEATRE (New Orleans)
Howdy!
We are very excited to announce . . . . AUDITIONS THIS WEEKEND :
A new local Women's Film & Theatre company
both Saturday (04/25) & Sunday (04/26)
for 3 Film Shorts and several Staged Readings to be held this Fall.
We are looking to cast the following roles:

1. "Nightmares with Macbeth" :
SCOTT: 20s-30s, any race, fit
Disheveled, dreamer, preppy, handsome
5"8 or taller preferrable
Experience with Classical text a plus
3 WITCHES: 3 actresses of different races; any size & height
scary/crazy, foreboding, wicked, ugly (or to be made ugly)
Experience with Classical text a plus.
Transgender actors welcome!
DEATH/DOG WALKER: TALL male, redhead preferred but open to all races.
Dog owner a big plus (esp. "aggressive breeds").
This actor will likely be cast in two of the three shorts, as he is a recurring role.
The following must have experience/training with Classical text:
LADY MACBETH #2 (#1 is cast): any age/race, female
SERVANT TO MACBETH: any age/race/gender
DOCTOR TO MACBETH: any age/race, male
GENTLEWOMAN: any age/race, female

2. "The Book of Lilith" :
ADAM: 20s-30s, any race, male, taller than 5"8 a plus
Sexist, self-righteous, simple, proud
Experience with Classical text a plus
Must be comfortable wearing a nude bodysuit with leaves/just leaves as scene takes place in The Garden of Eden.
Must be comfortable with an on-screen kiss.
EVE: 20s-30s, any race, any size, female
Innocent, loving, wholesome, "all eyes", animal lover, kind
Experience with Classical text a plus.
Must be comfortable wearing a nude bodysuit with leaves/just leaves as scene takes place in The Garden of Eden.
Eve does not have dialog so actress must be able to convey emotion without words.
ARCHANGEL SAMAEL: any age, any race, very muscular/strong, tall & powerful type
Ability & comfort with lifting 140lb actress and carrying her off-screen a plus.
Must be comfortable wearing all white (& gold) body paint and white robes.

3. "Lost in Hoarder Heaven" :
NADINE: female, middle-aged, any race
Bumbling, sweet, old hippie, clueless, overly friendly
Actress must be excellent with physical humor/slapstick/improv.
LAWYER: male, middle-aged, not white
professional, all-business, "matter of fact" tone, wealthy

4. Staged Readings: we are looking to build our ensemble . . .
5 WOMEN: there are a variety of roles, all comedic with dramatic undertones; want to see your ability to improv and want to see prepared monologues (although sides will be made available).
