I'm seeking an Automobile Windshield and Door Glass Installer for what is probably a solid days work. I need this installer to come with the knowledge required to remove and replace several windshields, car door glass and rear windows without breaking anything, making a mess or seeking help.

Basically - please don't reply unless you really know glass and have the tools to do the jobs I need without destroying my cars.

First Project - I have 2 (qty) Mercedes Benz E320's. I need the tinted glass in all four doors as well as the rear window removed from the car I'm retiring. I then need all that glass installed into my E320 i'll be using as a daily driver. One full window regulator will need to also be relocated into the drivers side rear door. I want to have the smaller non moving windows relocated as well. (I may or may not need glass re-installed into car I'm retiring)

Second Project - I have 2 (qty) 1973 Opel GT cars. I also have 2 brand new gaskets for the front and rear of my primary Opel. I need the windshield from my parts car put into my "keeper" using the new gasket. I also need the rear window re-installed with the new gasket. I also need the rear winows in my keeper opel very carefully gone over with the gasket kits I have.

I expect that anyone I hire will pay VERY close attention to detail on both cars. I look forward to discussing suggested sealants, things to avoid, tricks for each install and cautious work.

I am mostly trying to avoid a big mess of broken windshields, messy cars, poor workmanship etc.

If you know what you're doing we can work something out.

Please have excellent communication skills and the ability to come back a second or third day to do the work correctly rather than rush through a shoddy job.

I have a large garage and 2 driveways to work in. There is plenty of parking available. Working here should be pleasant as I will help get what you need, most likely make you a nice lunch and be flexible with your schedule.

I also have a good deal of tools and mechanical knowledge, but no clue as to what to do with installing windshields etc..
