Obrien's Tire and Auto Service center is looking for an experienced mechanic to join our team.
Ideal candidate would be hard-working, punctual, and dependable, have their own tools, State/Emissions Certification (if you don't have this BUT you do have many years of experience or other certification, we may make exceptions- candidates with valid certifications would be given preference) and be able to perform the following duties:
Major and Minor repairs
State Safety/Emissions Inspections
Electrical repairs
Vehicle Diagnostics
Operating tire mounting and balancing machine
Driving to pick up parts, tires, or vehicles
Cleaning the shop
This posting is for a short term 'gig'- day by day at first. However if you work well with our team there will be more opportunities.
Gig requirements:
YOU MUST HAVE EXPERIENCE IN AUTOMOTIVE
This is an immediate position, we need someone who can start right away with no training
You must have a valid driver's license
You must bring your own tools
Able to lift 50 lbs min.
STATE/EMISSIONS CERTIFICATIONS OR ASE CERTIFICATIONS
You must have experience with automotive repairs.
Please do not reply if you are looking for an apprenticeship.
Able to work between 7am to 6pm during the week and saturdays 7am to 5pm
(as needed, not for the entire duration)
