Okay, I'll admit it, I've had a glass of wine and a beer tonight.
I just turned 38 years old and that's all it takes for me to get a little tipsy anymore. Oh, and the baby just fell asleep. After looking up pictures for an hour, I found myself on craigslist, hoping to find an opprotunity to meet some people and play some wonky yet skilled frickin' music.
I live on the east side in a neighborhood filled with retired people. I'm so lonely I want to puke. I have a loving wife and was recently in a 80s cover band. I'm a blues player by trade but love a bunch of creative avenues to rock, folk, jam, hard rock, and weird.
I write songs and play live and record. I'd like to find a few musicians who want to do something no one else is doing. And then play out. I like characterized music because it's freeing. I'm a good fellow who can tolerate weirdness until it's like too weird.
I am totally comfortable improvising a music show just to get out again and feel alive again god help me. Are you a drummer and or a bass player or another guitarist singer songwriter or flutist or accordion player who wants to book a show or some studio time and write songs and play them real quick before we wither away? Should we get a group of like 2-10 players together and record a weird ass album some weekend this summer?
