Baby boomer music guitar and vocals (Tigard)

I am looking for folks to play and sing with on an amateur basis, but with the possibility of playing out as a consideration/incentive to really focus on bringing our collective skills to a higher level of accomplishment. I have played guitar for many years, mostly folky kinds of things, but in latter years have spent a good deal of time getting into fingerstyle guitar (John Renbourn, Al Petteway, etc.) I can carry a tune when I sing, but fancy myself as more of a guitar player/backup singer although some have said I have a pleasant voice. (I'm not a screamer by any means, and don't particularly want to play that sort of music) In addition to the artists mentioned above, I would say my style gravitates toward the likes of Dan Fogelberg, Eagles, Simon and Garfunkel, Gordon Lightfoot, John Denver, Beatles, etc. By this list you can get an idea of my demographic and musical tastes. I have no problem with rockier stuff, but since I play on my own so much, I gravitate toward acoustic music.
I have some other friends that I play with from time to time, but due to other commitments, they aren't always available to play as much and as often as I'd like, so I'd like to see if there's anyone else who would be interested in doing what we can to add joy and artistry to our.
