They are not meant to be kept in cages for housing. In the wild Macaws fly 50 to 60 miles daily.Please take a note these amazing parrots live almost 80 to 90 years with proper care. Sorry, Macaws are not for everyone!
If you decide to get one, it is always better to start with a baby Macaw. Don't expect to start with a two or three years old Macaw and have good luck with it. And never get any macaw that is caught from the wild!
