Band looking for experienceddedicated DRUMMERS (Detroit, MI)
I'm Dan, I have a project named the 'Full Monty'.
I currently need a drummer who can practice in the evening
-Ages 21-28
-Able to tour
-Has their own transportation to get to practice
-Available to practice AT LEAST 2 times a week for 2-4 hours
-Must live in or willing to drive to the Detroit area. I live in Lincoln Park!
-not a must, but my house is not able to be practiced in, if you are able to supply that as well, that'd save money so we don't have to rent a place
I've been doing it as an acoustic live project and in the studio I record it as a band where I record all instruments. I am in the process of recording my debut full length at the moment. It's definitely becoming more rock than folk/punk but that element will always be there. I've released 2 EP's (Dec 2014 and August 4th 2015). It's a folk/punk inspired rock n roll band. Heres a link to my current released music - fullmonty.bandcamp.com - I can send you demo's of my to be released album as well. Also do youtube video blog/music stuff - youtube.com/danthefullmonty - yes that's my sense of humor...
TOUR IS A THING. PLAYING SHOWS DURING THE WEEK IS A THING. HOPEFULLY YOU ARE WILLING TO BE BROKE TO DO SOMETHING YOU LOVE TO DO...I AM MYSELF...THATS A THING...
Let me tell you a little about myself; been playing guitar since I was 8, drums and bass since I was 11. Formed garage bands with friends starting at 12. I formed my first real band when I was 15, (Explicit Bombers - facebook.com/explicitbombers - 2009-2013) and then reformed with the same members minus one plus a new member under Epoxy (facebook.com/epoxyband - 2013-2014). Then I started this in August of last year. Been playing shows since November of last year yadda yadda yadda.
