We're a new band seeking another individual to share in singing lead vocals as well as backing vocals/harmonies. Most of us are between the ages of 23-30 if age is a concern. We do a lot of soulful/funky music like Stevie Wonder and Bill Withers, and our originals are in that same vein as well. We have a female singer who also plays trumpet a lot, but she can't sing while she's playing trumpet, so we could use someone to fill in the gaps so-to-speak. Preferably, we'd like another female singer but are open to any male singers who'd be interested. We're not the kind of band that needs or wants a "front person". We don't want to deal with a huge ego. We just need vocalist(s) who love to sing, but don't always have to be the center of attention. We would also like to find a vocalist with the capability to play keyboard, guitar, flute, trombone, trumpet, saxophone, various auxiliary percussion, or any other instruments you might hear in funk or jazz music. So, if you're interested just email me with a brief description of yourself, your musical influences, and any instruments that you know how to play, etc. If you're not the most experienced, don't worry. So far, this band has just been for fun ~
