I am a bass player looking to form or join a existing band. I moved to LA from Portland Oregon in December 2013 to pursue music, that has been all I have done everyday since. I am very dedicated to music and whatever band I am in.

I am 25 so old enough to play bars. I have been playing bass since my 14th Birthday, I asked my dad to get me one for a present and its been a non stop thing in my life since. I played in many bands in Oregon, toured and been in and out of groups out here. I am looking for something stable to build up. I have played guitar about 8 years so I could do a little of that if needed but I am not looking for a full time guitar thing unless its super needed, I really love playing bass more. Additionally I am not a vocalist, I cant sing.

I have many links to share with interested parties but below is my youtube channel. I recorded 10 songs and posted them just to show basic technique and timing. Please dont take what you see me playing as bands I am majorly into. These are just covers of which I know many as I play in a cover band in Oregon, I knew many songs but only recorded these 10 and got tired of making youtube videos, my influences listed below are a better thing to pull from. Again I am very into music in general, I have influences from almost every genre for the past 50+ years.

A previous Oregon Band-

One of my previous bands is www.facebook.com/musicbysecondson, the songs Boiling point and Change me were written by me. Change me is more of a pop driven type of song, boiling point is more alternative or metal. I write a wide variety and I dont have to be involved in the writting process but I can if wanted.

An LA band I was in
The guys in this band were great but they were really into make up, like it became a requirement and also dressing like a cross dresser. Thats cool if you are into that but I am not.As for the music the bass lines are simple root notes, but that's how they were written by the guitarist and they wanted it exactly like that on the EP, I play on Gravity, Silent Night, Vertovoyager and Lights All Around-
