Hey all. I have a really good Chicago Blues band in the New Orleans area ... and I am having a heck of a time finding a mature, reliable bass player. All of us work hard to maintain and improve our skills. If there's a central tenet, it's showmanship: Project, don't reflect. Establish an emotional relationships with the audience. We are not looking for Jaco Pastorius or Geddy Lee, but equal doses of chops, groove, musicianship, passion, taste and stage presence is a factor.
