Be a Foster Parent for Rescued Cats (Manchester, CT)
The Queenie Foundation, Inc., a humane education and rescue/adoption organization, needs foster homes in the greater Hartford area.
We can provide food, litter box, and litter and will pay for the veterinary bills. We need temporary, safe, and loving homes for our foster cats. The time commitment can be as short as a few days or as long as a few months depending on the health of the cat and the number of empty cages at the Manchester PetSmart adoption center, that we share with another rescue organization. Basically, you would be a halfway house for the cat on his or her way to being adopted. The commitment is per cat as opposed to time, such as three or six months.
You must provide at least three references and have a home visit. If you have animals, you'll need a space where you can isolate the new foster from them until they can adjust to your home.
We thank you for your time and caring to assist rescued cats find their forever home.
