Meet Maizy, or "Mama Z" as she's affectionately known. Mama Z was saved from a bad situation, where her owners kept he in a bedroom 24/7 and were going to actually put her to sleep when one of our volunteers heard about Mama Z's situation and brought her to the Faribault County Humane Society.

Mama Z is a very affectionate dog who enjoys being petted and having her belly rubbed. She's wonderful with kids and really enjoys the attention she gets from the five year old in her foster home.

Considering her past, it's truly amazing, but Mama Z is completely potty trained! She doesn't have accidents and signals to go out every time she has to go. Her foster mom works long hours, and says that she has yet to come home to a mess.

Mama Z is ready for her new life to begin. She's truly an amazing dog who gets along great with other dogs, but we don't know for sure about cats.

Mama Z's adoption fee is $100. She is spayed, up to date on shots, and house trained. Please reply to this post today for an adoption application. Mama Z is up for adoption through the Faribault County Humane Society.
