Au Pairs provide 45 hours (FT) or 30 hours (PT) of live in child care. Their duties can include: light housekeeping, children's laundry, meal preparation, homework/tutoring help, organization, transportation, and much more.
The cost to have an au pair is much more affordable than many people imagined. For 45 hours, the cost is $353/week and for 30 hours it is $300/week. This cost does not vary depending on the number of children you have.
