Benny is a very handsome 4 year old, 65 lb redbone coonhound mix. He's a loving, loyal and smart boy. Benny knows Sit, Stay, Down, Shake, Speak, High Five. He's eager to learn more. Benny's favorite activities are playing fetch and cuddling. He also likes to swim and will fetch sticks or tennis balls and bring them back. Benny LOVES tennis balls!

While he's a super sweet boy, he can sometimes be anxious around new people and small dogs he doesn't know. Benny finds young children particular scary and unfortunately, his family will soon be welcoming a new human baby. Since Benny won't do well with a young child, Benny is looking for a new home.

Benny currently lives with a dog and he gets along with large dogs best. He isn't a fan of the crate but is reliable and not destructive left loose in the home and he's housetrained. Benny is eager to find a new home where he will be cherished as much has he had been in his former home. His current family is heartbroken that Benny can't stay with them because of the new baby.

The fee to adopt Benny is $275 which includes Spay/neuter surgery, routine vet fees, shots and temporary boarding fees.
