Re-homing (5) 1 gallon single fish aquariums with female betta free to good homes. . . these fish did not get along together unlike the rare female betta groups seen on youtube. They were raised singly and would not tolerate company. I was prepared to separate them if they chose not to be community tank fish, and they are now being re-homed with mini-aquariums of their own as they would not live in peace together. MUST KEEP SEPARATELY!!!
Tank has under-gravel filtration and air pump as well as a lighted hood etc. You will need to get your fish water conditioners for replacing the water every week or two. These are available very cheaply at wal-mart by the names of Start Right and Start Zyme, respectively they remove harmful chlorine, and replace necessary bacteria in your tap water for the fish. Other than this, just drop a pellet on them daily. . . (fish comes with starter food). Like all live pets bettas do require a small amount of care but if you want a lower maintenance pet, you will need to adopt a rock.
