QR Code Link to This Post Tonight on Jarvis Road in Santa Cruz, our neighbor's cat was killed. We can't impress enough on our neighbors to bring their pets inside BEFORE sunset... not dark... sunset. We're not sure if it was a mountain lion or a bobcat (doubtful it was a coyote, judging by the attack). Your pets are precious members of your family, so please take precautions and be aware of your surroundings. There are coyotes that come down even into the city neighborhoods. Wild animals can hunt at any time of the day, but are especially active between sunset and dawn.
