Bruce (Mister B) is an 80 pound, 18-24 month old, gentle and loving, intelligent and curious, wonderful moose. Technically he'd be categorized as American Bulldog mixed with Great Dane, but we prefer to call him Bruce the moose.

His favorite thing is you, and a good long nap! He is a country boy still learning to acclimate to city noises, but he's a fast learner. After two weeks of working with him, he is a star at loose-leash walking, sitting, and staying. . .maybe 75% of the time. Whether he gets excited about it or not, he needs an hour or so of walking/ running every day. He loves other dogs and children, and has an irresistible curiosity for cats and squirrels.

He is almost always mindful of his size, and will go out of his way not to hurt anyone--though we're working on appropriate ways to greet his favorite people that don't include jumping up for a full-on hug. He is playful and fun without being mouthy or vocal, but keep in mind he has little control over the slobber. He is crate-trained, and seems potty trained--though he has a hard time planning for the future regarding potty breaks, then excitement can win out over his ability to control his bladder. Something that is being worked on as there is no doubt in time Mister B will learn more self control when becoming happily excited.

All-in-all, he is a phenomenal dog who needs people to love him and spend as much time as possible with him. He's a sensitive guy who needs to be shown that he is loved--and that no one is going to hurt him. Simply put, give this pup your heart, and he will be the best companion you have ever had!
