A couple of my birds (despite my best efforts) decided they were going to have some chicks over the winter. I've still got these guys clamoring about the place and expect they'd love to head out to new homes. See photos below! They're all very handsome and friendly, handleable (except one), but a little skittish. They'll warm up to anyone who's gentle and willing to handle them regularly. :)

As always, a few advisories apply: budgies can make great pets for children, but only at a responsible adult's discretion. Birds require daily care (fresh water, seeds and/or pellets), and their cages need to be cleaned once per week. They also need to be handled gently. If you feel your child (or you, if your kid grows bored of bird ownership) are not up to this task, you may want to reconsider the wisdom of getting a bird. It's also prudent to be aware that other household pets can make bird ownership risky, especially cats. It's not a good idea to house birds in a room that cats have regular unsupervised access to.

Additionally, I live in Lovell, ME. It's a good idea to check how far you'll need to drive in order to meet/pick up birds. I'm willing to meet halfway (in most cases), or try and sort out other arrangements, but this may extend the time it takes for your birds to reach you. Please be patient. :) I've successfully re-homed birds to people willing to travel all the way from New.
