Buster is available for adoption (Longmont)
K9 Synergy / Australian Cattle Dogs Rescue is offering Buster for adoption.
Buster is about 4 years male/neutered, Australian Cattle Dog / Border Collie mix. Buster had families before that failed to understand and provide adequate care for him. He is a very energetic and a fetcher fanatic (Frisbee and tennis balls). He is not the ideal dogs to be taken in a chaotic and noisy urban environment as he is not a very confident dog. The ideal adopting candidates have a large fenced backyard where they can play fetch with him. He is very good with other dogs off leash but again he is not the kind of dogs that a walk around city blocks or a trip to the local park would fulfill his physical/mental needs but instead it may create frustration. Ideally no kids under 12 and no cats. He is crate trained and he is OK to be left by him self. Previous experience with pure bred herding breed is required.
He is house trained and easy to train. There is an adoption fee and you can foster Buster up to 3 weeks before deciding to adopt.
